To be the light during the dark battle of pediatric cancer

A reason to shine

Our son Luca truly exemplified the meaning of his name, Bringer of Light. Although his time with us was short, his spirit and life had an impact on many, both near and far, known and unknown. Despite his body going through so much, Luca continued to smile, learn and bring so much joy to our lives.

As we continue to grieve Luca’s passing, we find comfort in remembering the joy and strength he gave so many. It is our wish to continue shining his light by helping families experiencing the horrific reality of pediatric cancer.

Cancer treatments lower a child’s immune system tremendously, making public parks and play areas a dangerous territory. Luca’s Light Foundation believes every child deserves a safe place to play and develop, and we will continuously work to create that safe space.
